Who We Are
Our Mission
The Minneapolis Central Church of Christ Food Shelf is leading a powerful movement in
hunger relief, rooted in a deep commitment to breaking the cycles of poverty in our
community. Our mission is to offer nutritional supplemental food, diapers, feminine
hygiene products, and essential supplies to individuals and families during times of
crisis. We do so in a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment, where all are treated with
kindness and respect—regardless of age, race, creed, color, national origin, or physical
and developmental abilities.

We serve
325 families per week, 1300 families a month.

We envision a community where everyone has access to the nutritious food and
essential toiletries they need to thrive.
